In early July, Amazon launched the X-Day Delivery Program (X-day) to enhance the delivery experience for seller-fulfilled orders. Recognizing the exceptional logistics performance of SFC (SFC Service), Amazon has appointed SFC as the designated delivery service provider for this program in Mexico. The collaboration aims to ensure top-notch store performance and drive a significant increase in orders during the peak season.

X-Day Delivery is an offline shipping service for seller-fulfilled orders introduced by Amazon. By participating in this program, sellers can benefit from faster delivery times, which in turn boost product conversion rates. Additionally, sellers are eligible for exemptions on order defect rates (ODR) caused by logistics issues, ensuring consistent store performance. The service is specifically available for Amazon Mexico and applies to sellers using MFN self-fulfillment with available inventory.

Joining the X-Day Delivery Program involves a few simple steps:

1. Set the Handling Time: Configure the handling time for your products to 1 day.
2. Logistics Configuration: Set up delivery logistics time according to the standards for standard and express lines. SFC sales representatives can provide one-on-one guidance for this process.
3. Timely Handover: Hand over the goods to SFC within 1 day after the cut-off time, ensuring the first scan record is generated.
4. Mark Shipments: In your store's backend, mark the SFC tracking number for shipment.
By meeting these four criteria, you can automatically utilize the X-Day service and enjoy its benefits.

The Order Defect Rate (ODR) is a crucial metric that measures a store's ability to provide a good buyer experience. It represents the percentage of orders with one or more defects within a 60-day period. ODR includes negative feedback rate, Amazon Marketplace Guarantee claim rate, and credit card chargeback rate. To sell on Amazon, a seller’s ODR must be below 1%. Exceeding this threshold can result in account suspension or removal of sales privileges.

If a seller's ODR reaches 1%, any self-fulfilled products will lose access to the "Buy Box." Additionally, Amazon may suspend or terminate the seller’s account, withholding funds to refund customers. If the ODR slightly exceeds 1%, the store will be suspended, giving the seller 17 days to restore the account. A significantly high ODR indicates serious issues such as excessive delivery delays and numerous canceled orders.

Sellers must ensure the first physical scan by SFC is generated within the handling time (1 day). Delayed deliveries disqualify the order from ODR policy protection. Therefore, products participating in the X-Day service must be in stock to meet the requirements.
